I’m Russell Mackintosh.

Wānaka has been my home for 20 years, and I’m deeply invested in the long-term wellbeing of our community and environment.

I am a senior manager at Cardrona Alpine Resort and Treble Cone, with a background in psychology and experience in change management and organisational transformation. My work has contributed to Cardrona’s recognition for sustainable business practice and several business awards.

I’m involved in community-led waste minimisation workshops and regularly present on sustainable practices. I value collaboration, evidence-based decision-making, and inclusive conversations that empower communities.
