Have your say on transport
The Mayoral Transport Task Force is aiming to deal to the transport issues in Queenstown. But first it needs to understand the impact of these issues on the community and to come up with achievable ideas for change that could make things better.
That’s why Shaping Our Future is providing independent community engagement for the project, to make sure everyone’s voice is heard.
We need to understand how transport problems are affecting your everyday life and work:
What makes journeys difficult?
Why do you make the transport choices you do?
What practical changes could make a difference in the short to medium term?
What trade-offs or changes would you realistically consider?
There are two ways you can take part: attend one of three public forums or complete the community survey.
Join us at a community forum
Come to a facilitated workshop with Simon Harvey. You’ll have a chance to tell us about your transport experiences, what is and isn’t working for you, and brainstorm practical changes that could make a difference.

Complete the community survey
This survey takes about 10 minutes. We want to hear from anyone who lives, works, studies, owns or runs a business, or regularly travels in Queenstown.

We will analyse the feedback from both the survey and forums and pass it to the Mayoral Transport Task Force to help inform its priorities and recommendations.
