A vision for Gibbston

In April 2025 our team first visited Gibbston to begin writing a visioning report in conjunction with the Gibbston Community Association, exploring how the residents of Gibbston can participate in local decision-making. 

The conversations focused on the future of Gibbston and how those who make the area home can have an influence on its future.  

We were delighted to join the Gibbston community again in July 2026 to review the report and update it to keep it relevant to a fast-changing world.

Now, we need as much feedback as we can get from the people who live in Gibbston. It is important to us at Shaping Our Future that the report is truly representative of what we know to be a passionate and dedicated community.

Gibbston is changing, and the people who live here know it best. This survey is your chance to help shape the future by sharing what matters most to you.

Whether you've lived here for decades or have only recently arrived, your ideas, experiences and priorities are valuable. The more people who take part, the stronger the picture we build together and the more confidence the Gibbston Community Association has to advocate for the things our community wants.
