I’m Gavin Flynn.

I have always admired Shaping Our Future's ethos, particularly its commitment to amplifying the voices of smaller communities.

Originally from Ireland, I was raised in Auckland, educated at Lincoln University, and have lived in the district for eight years. After completing a Parks, Recreation and Tourism degree, I joined the Remarkables lift operations team in the mid-90s, which gives me firsthand experience of the significant changes in our district. 

I am eager to continue contributing my skills and knowledge in the areas where I can make the most impact.
