I’m Alison Dench.

I’ve loved being part of the unique community of Arrowtown since I landed here from Auckland in 2008. I’ve been a firefighter and medical first responder and am now part of the Community Resilience Group.

Effective communication has been the core of my professional life. I’ve written, edited and designed books, done digital and print marketing, managed social media and built websites. I’ve worked with both the Arrowtown Village Association and the Arrowtown Promotion and Business Association on their digital presence. 

As a trustee I hope I can help communities define, express and advocate for the future they want.
