FRANKTON MASTERPLAN

Let's Talk about Frankton!

Shaping our Future is teaming up with the Frankton Community Association and QLDC to facilitate a Community Forum to inform the wider Frankton Masterplan.

The Frankton Masterplan includes the area from the Marina on Frankton Road to the Shotover River and down to the Kawarau River.  Full map of key areas

We’re keen to start a conversation with the wider Wakatipu community on what would make Frankton a great place to live, work and play? Your insights will help shape how Frankton will look, feel and function looking ahead 30+ years

When:  Tuesday 25 September at 7pm

Where:   Remarkables Primary School Hall, 49 Lake Avenue, Frankton

RSVP:  Register here or email Anita  or phone 021 222 1231

This forum is independently facilitated with small group discussion to explore the following areas:

  • What are the current issues, challenges and priorities for Frankton?
  • What do you love about Frankton?
  • What is your ideal future for Frankton?
  • What actions could this community take today to meet their future goals?

For more information or to provide feedback online please visit Frankton Masterplan

Please help us reach as many people as we can by sharing this invitation to your contacts!   We welcome input from all of our community members!

Find Out How

The Queenstown Lakes District is a unique area facing unique challenges.  Many agencies and individuals are focused on the problems of today. Without knowing where we want to go, how can we move in the right direction?

Shaping our Future was formed to put communities at the forefront of shaping tomorrows future today.  We invite you to support us in creating a better future for our children, grandchildren and beyond.  We look to the long term - where do we want to be in 30, 40, 50 years?  Our process is designed to put in place actions to achieving our vision.

If we don't, who will?
